Fall Cucumber Leaves Dry Up And Turn Grayish Color

Question From: Raleigh, North Carolina, United States
Q: I PLANTED SOME FALL CUCUMBERS FROM SEED & THEY LOOKED GREAT, UNTIL THE LEAVES STARTED TO DRY UP & TURN A GRAYISH COLOR. I HAVE ALL KINDS OF BLOOMS. CAN I POSSIBLY DO ANYTHING TO HELP SAVE PLANTS.

Sounds like your plants have powdery mildew. You will need to spray them with a fungicide. Be sure to hit the undersides of the leaves. Best to do this in the morning or early evening. I like a product called Actinovate. It's environmentally friendly. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
