Fern Fronds Are Curling Up And Look Like They Have Spider Webs Inside

Question From: J. Rogers - Alto, Texas, United States
Q: My common yard fern is large and has thrived for a long time. Now, the ends of the fronds are curling up in a ball, and it looks like spider webs inside them. Can you help me? I don't know what to do.

Heat and lack of water may be the issue. Take a picture to your local garden center for a more accurate ID. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
