Flowering Plum Tree Leaves Are Drying Up From Bottom To Top And Falling Off

Question From: f. schielzo - Saddle Brook, New Jersey, United States
Q: my flowering plum tree is having an issue with the leaves drying up from bottom to top and falling off. the tree has scales early in the year and I treated the tree and it looked really good and had full tree of leaves and now in 2 weeks the leaves are drying up,

I can't tell you what the problems is. Loss of leaves means the has issues and is still in stress. A bad guess could cost you the tree. If it were my tree I would get an onsite inspection from a professional, a certified arborist. To find one in your area go to www.tcia.org and enter your zip code. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
