Forsythia Leaves Have Yellow Dots

Question From: B. Furey - NEW YORK
Q: My forsythia is potted on a terrace in NYC. The leaves are evenly spotted with yellow dots--on all leaves. Do you have any idea what might cause this?

Probably heat and lack of water. Make sure to keep the soil moist over the winter. After the leaves drop give it handful of Plant Tone or other organic fertlizer on the surface of the soil. Best and Happy Yardening, Nancy
