Q: I have two forsythia shrubs that have very heathy green leaves but for the past two years I do not get any yellow flowers. The soil is fairly rich and area is well drained. sunlight about 4 to 6 hours. What can I do?
A: The flower buds are often killed by drought in late fall, sudden freezes in fall and sudden severe fluctuations in temperatures in spring. Welcome to global warming. There is not a lot you can do. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
