Geranium Flowers Are Very Small And Tight

Question From: M. Wilson - Evarts, Kentucky, United States
Q: My red geranium plants are a beautiful green, huge leaves and long strong stems but the flower heads never seem to fully flower and each floret is very small and tight.

My guess is cold weather is the problem. But take samples to your independent garden center or nursery, preferably one that grows these plants for a more accurate ID. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
