Geranium Leaves Have Tiny Black Pills On Them

Question From: P. Nygaard - Cary, North Carolina, United States
Q: My geranium leaves have tiny black pills, that look like possible droppings? ...or eggs? Just saw them this morning... over almost all leaves. I have a a picture I can email/text. They don't seem to be effecting the leaves... they just rinse off...but then they will be in the soil... What's happening? Thanks for any help! ~Priscilla

Sorry, I do not have a crystal ball. If balls washed off and there is no damage to the leaves I would not worry about the condition. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
