Geraniums Have Little Holes All Over And Buds Are Brown And Not Blooming

Question From: Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States
Q: my geranium have little holes all over and the buds are brown and no flower blooming

A: The culprit is called a bud worm - if you only have a couple of geraniums, spray it with a soap and water solution ( 1 teaspoon plain Dawn dish soap to 1 quart water. ) Spray at sundown or early morning and be sure to hit the undersides of the leaves. A good ready to use product is AzaMax, that is environmentally safe and good for use on edibles as well as flowers. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
