Geraniums Have Many Flowers And Almost No Leaves

Question From: Whitman, Massachusetts, United States
Q: My geranium are covered with flowers, but have practically no leaves. The leaves turn yellow, then brown and drop off, but flowers continue to bloom-weird. Any ideas?

I think they need water. Plants will bloom when they are in stress and think they may be dying. Mother Nature's way of preserving the specie. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
