Q: I can't get grass to grow underneath my pine trees. Any suggestions?
A: Grass cannot grow under pine trees unless you trim them way up. Lack of sun and water are both issues. The best thing for the tree is mulch with 4 inches of organic mulch out to the drip line. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
