Hibiscus Have No Flowers And Leaves Are Turning Yellow

Question From: S. Biaggi - ARIZONA
Q: I can't seem to tell what's wrong with my hibiscus plant. As you can see, the leaves are turning yellow and no flowers for a long time. I checked for white flies and aphids and found nothing. Can you help?

A: In the ground or out of the ground? Lack of flowers often results from over-fertilizing. Yellow leaves could mean too much water or not enough. Take photos and leaf samples in a plastic bag to and independent nursery for garden center for advice. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
