Question From: L. Foley - ILLINOIS
Q: Hibiscus plant leaves are almost all spotted with yellow and brown spots. The leaves then turn completely yellow. I do not see any sign of insects. Even the new growth looks like they will be spotted also. We had a pretty cold spring and a lot of rain. Flowers look ok. Is there anything I can do to save this plant

A: Your hibiscus probably had a disease. Take some of the diseased leaves, sealed in a plastic baggie, to an independent garden center or nursery that sells these plants, for and accurate ID and control. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
