House Plants Have Brown Spots Should They Be Treated For Four-Lined Bugs

Question From: D. Witt - Grosse Pointe, Michigan, United States
Q: The brown spots on these three different plants around my house? I had asked before about the mint. Your reply stated it was the "four lined bug". Also that AzaMax could or should be used to eliminate this problem.

Look at your plants. If the new growth is free of spots, the bugs have laid their eggs and died, so don't bother spraying. Four-lined bugs feed on many herbaceous plants. The larvae hatch out in May. That's the time to spray. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
