How Long Can Broccoli Be Stored Before Freezing

Question From: B. Verlanic - Deer Lodge, Montana, United States
Q: How long can I store the broccoli after picking before I freeze it, also what is the best way to store it. I picked one and placed it in fridge overnight and it wilted.

The best time to harvest is early in the morning. Mist it and wrap in newspaper and store it in the vegetable drawer in the refrigerator . It will keep for a couple of days, but the sooner you freeze it the better. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
