Q: I live in the deep south down in Mobile AL. I am growing Petunias and wondering how long I can expect the plant to live? Anyway it will live through the winter, even if I move it inside? Also which is better Miracle Grow or tri 13 fertilizer? Thanks for your help!
A: Jack, If you give them protection in winter, say an unheated garage, they will live a couple of years. Some do better than others - such as the Waves. Indoors would even be better. I am not a great fan of Miracle Grow. Prefer Jack's Classic. I am not familiar with tri 13. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
