How Long Does It Take Fiddle Leaf Ferns To Reach Full Size

Question From: L. Curtis - New York, United States
Q: I am currently considering purchasing a Fiddle Leaf Fern for my home. The plants I am looking at are about 10inches tall. About how long does it take for them to reach full size? Thanks a lot!

There is no easy answer as it depends the conditions you provide. They are slow growers and in the wilds will grow to 40 ft. or more. I have never seen one as small as 10 inches. I hope that you are the patient type. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
