Q: At what age bush does a rabbit stop eating an Arborvitae Bush? I have cages around my bushes and they are 5 years old and about 5 feet tall. I would like to remove the cages but wondering if the rabbits will still eat them? Especially in the Winter time.
A: Rabbits will eat the tender new growth, usually in spring when other greens are scarce. I use a liquid spray or granular repellant called Plant Skydd, that is effective on both Deer and Rabbits. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
