Question From: MINNESOTA
Q: daisy looking weeds, should I kill them?
A: My guess is you are asking about ox eye daisies. In the display garden I steward we let them flower in June and then pull them. They reseed like crazy so these short lived perennials are considered a weed by many. They work for us in the area where we let them grow, but not in other areas. Google ox-eye daisy and for more information on methods of control. If you decide to grow them dead head the flowers before they go to seed. One plant can produce 1200 to 1500 seeds.
