How To Determine If Something Is Wrong With Soil Causing Differentiation In Color Of Magnolia Bushes

Question From: M. Fitzsimmons - Hartford, Wisconsin, United States
Q: I have two Alexandria Magnolia bushes that I love. One has very dark green leaves and the other has light green leaves. The both face east approximately 30 feet apart--the one with lighter leaves is at the northeast corner of the front of my house and the one with dark green leaves is at the southeast corner. Is there something wrong with my soil?

I can't answer that, Get your soil tested for an accurate assessment. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
