How To Get Rid Of Fruit Flies In The Home

Question From: M. Horwitz - Detroit, Michigan, United States
Q: Re: your fruit fly problem Yes they live in drains but only at night! I followed MSU Extension (if my recall is correct) and covered all drains in my house every evening. I used tupperware small bowls. Then I used a tall bottle with apple cider vinegar in the bottom and a rolled white sheet of paper in the neck as a funnel into a trap they can't escape. Did this for one week and the horrible infestation was over!! It is a pain to do but it works every time.

Thanks Michele, I'll give it a try. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
