How To Grow Hydrangeas From Cuttings

Question From: Canadian, Texas, United States
Q: can I take clippings to root from a hydrangea while the plant is still blooming or becomes dormant. Also will it hurt the original hydrangea from growing and keeping its beauty. We plan to get clippings from a friend to start several hydrangeas for our garden in various colors. We realize we need certain conditions in the soil to plant them when they are finished rooting. When is the best time to collect the clippings thank you

Google "growing hydrangeas from cuttings" to find tons of how-to information, videos and timing. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
