How To Hand Pollinate Cucumber Plants

Question From: L. Cole - MICHIGAN
Q: it is imposible to hand pollenate my cucumber plants and I don't have the bees, I tried the finger, q tip, sharp pointed knife, tiny brush, I cannot get pollen to stick to anything to transfer to the female,, can I cheat alittle and use the pollen from my male zucchini plant for my female cucumber

Cut off the male flower and gently but firmly rub it on the female flower. Mother Nature will do the rest. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
