Question From: B. Page - Fayetteville, North Carolina, United States
Q: An invasive have started in lawns in South Eastern NC. Long thin stalk with small skinny leaves entire length, but most of all the top forms a beige fuzz...in yards with a lot, it covers the yard with a beige fuzz...and mowing make a lot of te fuzz blow away. What is it and how to kill it out?
Contact your state extension service for advice. I am not familiar with that plant. Fortunately it has not reached Michigan yet. http://www.se-eppc.org/northcarolina/NCDOT_Invasive_Exotic_Plants.pdf You may be able to find it on this website. Herbaceous weeds are last on the list.
