Q: What can I do to keep the bugs from eating the leaves off my mountain ash tree, and without hurting the bees?
A: First you need to identify the insect so you don't waste time, money and pollute the environment any more than necessary. Once identified google the insect for effective insecticides that don't harm honeybees. It may be easier to get an onsite inspection from a certified arborist for a recommendation. If the tree is tall, it's very hard to do an effective home application that covers the entire tree. Happy Yardening, Nancy
