Q: i just bought cone flower plants in pots. Can I store the plants in the pots in an outside building that is heated after I cut them back?
A: Better to let them winter outdoors. Sink the pots in the ground or store then in an unheated garage. If stored in a covered area drop a couple ice cubes on the surface of the soil every couple of weeks. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
