How To Prevent Tomato Blight Before And After Planting

Question From: Glenshaw, Pennsylvania, United States
Q: Nancy, in the past few years I have problem with tomato blight. At start they grow very well, in about two months they start to torn yellow from the ground and up and in time die.

A: Folks have had good luck with a product called Actinovate. Do a soil drench a couple of weeks before planting. Plants should be sprayed every two weeks and don't forget the undersides of the leaves. Also prune the leaves from the bottom of the plant and remove any that show yellow. This product is a beneficial bacteria and is OMRI listed. You can get it on line at Amazon. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
