How To Propagate And Care For Gold Dots Sedum Japonica

Question From: p. Waring - Westville, Oklahoma, United States
Q: how do i care for sedum japonica (gold dots)? can you propagate?

'Gold Dots' is a tiny leafed stonecrop sedum, hardy to zone 7, so for you it would be grown as an annual or as an indoor plant. It is also sold under the names 'Tokyo Sun' and 'Tokyo Gold'. Sedums like full sun and fast draining soil that's on the lean side. Adding chicken grit or sharp sand will help with drainage. These plants can be propagated by cuttings. Strip the tiny leaves from the stems and stick them in damp sand. Let the stem end callous overnight before planting. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
