How To Protect Plants From Squirrels

Question From: Detroit, Michigan, United States
Q: Read your article "When Bambi goes after 'deer-resistant' plants. Don't have a deer problem, but I do have problems with squirrels eating and digging out plants in my pots. I'm exasperated! What do I do?

PlantSkydd also works with squirrels. Best to use the granular form. Sprinkle it on the surface of the soil and using those little nylon bags jewlery and candy come in - available at Michaels and store filled with 1/4 cup of the granules placed in the container will keep them at bay. Mine lasted the entire summer. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
