Question From: J. Robinson - ILLINOIS
Q: Guidelines for timing. You suggest filling a tuna tin as a guide for timing how long to have the soaker on for and I guess the right time length varies by pressure and manufacturer and length of hose etc. Could you give me some guidance for average time to fill the tin? I guess 10 seconds is too short and 10 hours too long but can you narrow down the "normal" range of times you would expect. How long are yours on for?
A: The easiest way to figure out the timing is to run water for one half hour, measure the amount in the can and do the math. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
