Question From: Seattle, Washington, United States
Q: I have these growing on top of my soil where there were wet spots. How do I get rid of these but get to water my vegetables regularly. These grow near the bed of my Wasabi plants. Thank you

A: I believe the plants are liverworts. They thrive on wet soil. I will need to improve the drainage of this soil and dry it out to get rid of them. Get an onsite inspection and recommendations from a professional such as a landscape architect. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
