Impatiens Leaves Are Turning Light Green And There Are No Flowers

Question From: Beloit, Wisconsin, United States
Q: WHY ARE MY IMPATIENTS LEAVES TURNING LIGHT GREEN WITH NO FLOWERS?

A: It sounds like impatiens downy mildew. It is a fatal disease. Pull them out roots and all and seal them in a plastic bag. The spores are in the soil so plan to plant something else in that space for a couple of years. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
