Q: Impatiens parrot plant. Grows tall no branching or foliage on the very long stem. How do I get it to side shoot so I can propagate?
A: Colm, I have no personal history with this plant so I can only impart what I've found on the Internet. Photos do not show branching. It is sold in CA by Annie's Annuals .I suggest you contact them (anniesannuals.com) . wIth your questions. Although my research indicates they grow in shade to part shade, in California reflected light is probably more intense than in Alaska. Good Luck and Happy Yardening, Nancy
