Impatiens Suddenly Have White Spots On Flowers

Question From: Pinehurst, North Carolina, United States
Q: My impatiens are thriving, but when I watered them in the hot aftn, within 4 hours, I noticed white spots on my healthy flowers. Was is caused from the water hitting the hot flowers?

The problem is not the water. Any chance there was anyone spraying insecticides, pesticides or fertilizers in the area? Those chemicals will burn the flowers. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
