Q: Is there any insecticide that will get rid of crape myrtle scale but not affect bees or valuable insects? My crape myrtles are infested!!
A: I recommend you take a sample of an infected stem to a good independent nursery or garden center for a accurate ID and control. With scale, timing is critical. There are products that are safe, but I live in Michigan and crepe myrtles don't grow here, so I cannot advise you. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
