Iris Leaves Are Distorted

Question From: I. Weisgerber - OREGON
Q: The iris leaves this spring are ruffled for some reason. It started last year and I wondered then what was going on. Do you have any ideas what might be happening and what I could try to remedy the situation? Thanks

Aphids and thrips will cause the leaves to become distorted. Spray the leaves with a neem oil product. Repeat every three days for two weeks to wipe out all those that hatch from eggs. For other information, search for Problems with Iris at Yardener.com. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
