Is Bayer Systemic Safe To Use Near Orange Tree

Question From: R. Marconi - CALIFORNIA
Q: I have rose bushes about 18-20 feet away from an old, large orange tree. Is it safe to use Bayer systemic around the base of the roses? If not, what might be a safe distance from the citrus?

I would say the distance is safe. Robert. It should be applied now so the product will not be active when the bees collect to pollinate the orange flowers. Best and Happy Gardening, Nancy.
