Is Crossbow Herbicide Safe For Grass

Question From: J. Duncan - Binghamton, New York, United States
Q: I have learned of a product that has 2,4-D (34.4%) and Triclopyr BEE (16.5%) in the liquid. It calls for 1 and a half oz. to a gallon of water to go into a spray pump. It is called "Crossbow". Will this mixture also kill the good grass? I only want to kill the "Creeping Charlie" or Ground Ivy. Please help. Thank you.

I am not familiar with Crossbow, but there are some online sources that claim it is safe for grasses. If you read the entire label it should indicate that the product is a broad leaf weed killer and does not harm grasses.  If you google it and go on the manufacturer's website you should find all the information you need. If not there will be a contact number to call. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
