Q: I planted 7 giant arborvita in early july, they are for the most part ok with an occasional brown leaf here and there. is this normal?
A: It is not unusual for newly planted shrubs. The larger they are the more they suffer transplant stress. Be sure the soil around the rootball remains moist going into winter. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
