Question From: M. B - PENNSYLVANIA
Q: My lawn service company just did a fertilizer treatment yesterday and plans to aerate today. I was planning on overseeding after the aeration. Is this bad timing? I am worried the seed will not germinate if I overseed immediately after the aeration because of the treatment. However, if I wait a week, I am concerned the core holes from the aeration will already be filled? What is my best bet?
A:
Overseeding after aeration is fine. Some suggest it is the best time to do it. Hopefully you watered your lawn so the coring machine with dig deep into the soil. Best and Happy Yardening, Nancy.
