Is It Too Late To Prune Hydrangea

Question From: M. KARGILIS - MICHIGAN
Q: Hi Nancy, Love your column. My Hydrangeas have already started to bloom but I have not cut them back yet. Is it too late to cut them back? Thank you so much for your time.

Thanks for the kind words. Timing for pruning depends on the variety. Take a photo of the plant while it was in bloom to your garden center for an ID and advice. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
