Is It Too Late To Prune Hydrangeas

Question From: MICHIGAN
Q: Is it too late to prune Snow Queen, and/or Oak Leaf hydrangeas?

If you pruned them now you will cut off the flower buds that produce this seasons flowers. If they need pruning, the best time to do it and preserve the flowers is just after the blooms fade. However, pruning is not necessary. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
