Question From: C. Look - Royal Oak, Michigan, United States
Q: Here it is late November here in southeastern Michigan. We had some trees removed late in the summer, and the lawn needs seeding in that area. I had hoped to seed still this fall and let the snow "settle it" into the ground. Is it too late to do so?
A: It is way too late Cal. The soil needs to be 50 degrees or warmer for the seed to germinate. Pray for and early spring. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
