Question From: J. Aguilar - Springfield, Tennessee, United States
Q: Hi... Is it okay to plant gladiols in mid July if you live in zone 7? If that is too late how should I store the bulbs? I purchased a huge number of bulbs from a big box store that were marked down but the bulbs are extremely large and healthy looking. Also, since it is so late in the planting/growing season, would it be better to save and plant in the spring or possibly in the fall of this season? Thanks for any advice on this.... A: Plant them now. Chances are they still have time to bloom. You cannot hold them until next year so go for it. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
