Japanese Honeysuckle Lost All Flowers And Has No New Buds

Question From: A. Voltz - Vancouver, Washington, United States
Q: My Japanese Honeysuckle lost all of its flowers and doesn't appear to have any buds. What do I need to do to get it to flower again?

A: Pruning off new wood would curtail flowering as they bloom on new wood. Over fertilizing with a high nitrogen fertilizer will also result in all foliage and no flowers. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
