Lawn Reseeded Too Late In Season

Question From: CONNECTICUT
Q: we had our lawn reseeded last fall (october) by a company, after a few weeks the grass seemed to grow pretty good, but now (we are now mid march) when most of the snow has melted most of the grass is gone, will it still come out once the weather gets warmer? or is it dead, we are very frustrated with our lawn, it was beautiful when we bought the house two years ago and ever since it is not thriving at all,

Shira, Sorry to say if you can't see the young grass it's a goner. It was seeded too late in the season. I suggest you find a lawn company who will follow the directions given in Yardener. Best Nancy and Good Luck.
