Q: I’m seeing this on my butterfly bush, Arabian Jasmine, and one rose. Do you know what this is? I had it last year too, it’s awful & I’m trying to get rid of it with Dawn & Water. It doesn’t work

A: It looks like a fungal disease, but to get an accurate ID and form of control I would send samples of infected leaves to to the diagnostic lab affiliated with your county Cooperative Extension Service.
