Leaves Of Geranium Brought Indoors Are Turning Yellow And Have Silver Spots On Undersides

Question From: Livonia, Michigan, United States
Q: I have a geranium that was flourishing in a pot outdoors. I brought it inside and it is now developing yellow leaves that eventually turn brown. Some od these leaves have silver looking spots on the underside of the affected leaves. I water once weekly since bringing the plant indoors.

It's probably suffering from lack of sun. The white spots are probably mildew. Your geranium will continue to go down hill as its light source is reduced ( shorter days and sun hanging lower in the horizon, so treating for mildew is a waste of time, But if you must, a product such as Serenade would do the job and is organic and OMRI listed.
