Leaves On Tip Of Rosemary Are Brown And Dry

Question From: M. Sb - Winterthur, Zurich, Switzerland
Q: Hello Nancy, My Rosemary has the leaves on the tip of each branch brown and dry. I suspect I'm watering the plant to much. Could this be the problem? How often do you need to water it? It's growing indoor. Thanks a lot

Could be lack of water and lack of sun. In winter the plant should be in a very cool sunny place. The soil should be just moist. In summer it needs full sun. The soil should be allowed to dry on the surface of the soil. If it dries down completely the plant will die. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
