Question From: L. Brigan - Vergennes, Vermont, United States
Q: We have 2 liberty apple trees that produce lots of apples but seem to fall off both trees before they are mature. This has happened year after year. Any ideas??
A: Lynn, when trees produce too many apples, Mother Nature thins the crowd, resulting in fruit drop. Hand thinning - that is removing small apples from cluster so only one remains will result in a better harvest. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
