Question From: New Bern, North Carolina, United States
Q: Why is all BARK falling in 3 to 5 inch segments from our large Longleaf Pine Tree in Eastern North Carolina ? The large branches at top, above 20 feet of open BARK are healthy with year-round abundance of brown needles, large cones, small brown & seed-like 2 inch droppings. Thanks for your advice !
A: My advice is to get an onsite inspection from a certified arborist. To find one in your area go to www.tcia.org and enter your zip code. Best, Nancy.
